I had a wonderful childhood growing up on a farm with fresh air and freedom, plenty of exercise and a real awareness of where our food came from. The hands on education I gained from our fruit and vegetable garden set me up with a love of real, good food that I enjoy passing on to my clients.
I spent 17 years working in the pharmaceutical industry, latterly dealing with regulatory affairs. My interest in good food and health led me to study Nutrition at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London where I qualified in 2002.
A New Perspective
What delights me is being able to look at each person individually. You are not just your symptom or diagnosis. What brought you to that place was a very unique set of circumstances. Using tools such as clinical testing supports a broader insight and enhanced personalisation of the treatment plan.

A New Perspective
The most important lesson I have learnt is that there is no magic bullet, our health is a jigsaw puzzle. Hydrating, alkalising, remineralising, correcting nutritional deficiencies (my vitamin D levels were chronically low – anyone working long office hours take note!), proper breathing, fresh air, exercise – they are all important. I am here to educate and guide you.
Rather than just passing on my knowledge, I can work with my clients over a period of time empowering them to take consistent action and work out what to implement and when so that they get the result they want, after all anyone that wants to be their very best has a coach!
Sports Nutrition has always been an aspect of nutrition that has really interested me. Due to this I have recently (2016) studied Sports Nutrition with Brendan Brazier, a vegan triathlete, to learn about high net-gain nutrition and how to incorporate a plant based diet to help you develop a lean body, a sharp mind, and a sustainable energy metabolism, whether you are a professional athlete or simply looking to boost your physical and mental health.
As well as working with clients at home and via Skype, I am the Nutrition Expert at Yeotown Retreat, voted the Best Spa Retreat in the UK (www.yeotown.com). My role there includes regular talks and one to one nutrition coaching sessions.
